During a travel trip to the West Coast of Jutland, Denmark, I came across a series of bunkers left behind from the Second World War.These sturdy constructions seemed like lively sculptures, impressive, dark, mystical and ghostly. Yet they still played an important part in the poetic landscape.
My objective is to transform the dark historical past of the bunkers, into something almost peaceful and harmonious. I have used pastel colors and soft light and composition to create this effect.
